Welcome to PlayMath! Throughout this privacy policy, we refer our website, playmath.org, as well as its games and services, collectively as the "Services". We respect your privacy and have composed this Privacy Policy to help you understand how we process your Personal Data (defined below) and your choices about the data we process.
This Privacy Policy explains what Personal Data (defined below) we collect in connection with the Services, how we use and share that data, and your choices concerning our data practices. Our Services are directed to a general audience, however, we are aware that children may be interested in the Services. For this reason we have an age gate that we use to verify the age of our users. Users under the age of 13 are filtered to an area of our site where no Google or Meta tagging is used, and no personal information is collected, except for persistent identifiers that are used solely to collect information for the following internal purposes: Maintaining, analyzing, or improving the Services (including our game library and platform features), understanding usage and engagement (for example games played, session duration, and retention trends), measuring activity patterns (for example daily and hourly usage), improving performance and reliability (for example by analyzing technical performance metrics and error reports), filtering test or fraudulent traffic, and protecting the security and integrity of the Services. If we learn that we have collected or otherwise processed any other Personal Data of a minor without the requisite parental consent, we will delete that information. If you have reason to believe that we have received or processed the Personal Data of a child through the Services, other than as described above, without the requisite verified parental consent, please contact us at privacy@playmath.org, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases. This is in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act and Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR.
We collect information that alone or in combination with other information in our possession could be used to identify you ("Personal Data") as follows:
Personal Data You Provide. We only collect Personal Data from you when you choose to provide it to us directly. For example when filling out our contact form on the Site you may provide your name, email address and birth year. If you send us an email, we will receive your email address and the information that you choose to include in your communication to us.

We have first-party and third-party cookies and similar technologies on our Site. Do Not Track Signals: Our Services currently do not respond to "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signals and operates as described in this Privacy Policy, whether or not a DNT signal is received. If we do respond to DNT signals in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy to describe how we do so.
Third-Party Information Collection Through the Services: As stated above, some features of the Services and Services are served by third parties ("Third-Party Services"). When you use the Services, these third parties may use automatic information collection technologies to collect information about you or your device. These third parties include Cloudflare, AWS, PostHog, Google, and Meta. We do NOT send child data to Google or Meta (we do not advertise to kids or have their trackers in the kids experience). Aggregated Information: We may aggregate Personal Data and use the aggregated information to analyze the effectiveness of our Services, to improve and add features to our Services, and for other similar purposes. In addition, from time to time, we may analyze the general behavior and characteristics of users of our Services and share aggregated information like general user statistics with prospective business partners. We may collect aggregated information through the Services, through cookies, and through other means described in this Privacy Policy.

Information collected through the Services is stored in a few different ways. The Personal Data that we collect, if any, via the Services is stored securely using third-party vendors who implement industry standard security measures. By using the Services, you authorize us to receive, process, transfer, and store your information in and to the United States as applicable.
We keep your information only for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the information was collected. If you contact us via email or contact form we will keep your information for a period of 18 months. Information stored in cookies remains stored for periods ranging from the duration of the session to 18 months.
